A Rich History
The Station House Hotel is built on the grounds of where the Old Station House once stood when the Railway system in Co. Donegal was in operation from 1901 to the 1940's. It was bought by the Gallagher family in 1953 four years after the last train passed the old building.

A group of 32 golfers, up for a weekend. The whole experience in the hotel was top class. Rooms, food and have to say the staff couldn't have been any more helpful. Great experience. And the price for 2 nights B&B with an evening meal was a steal.
I left my purse on the table in the dining room last week. Went back next day in a panic and the wonderful bar manager Shane had retrieved my purse and kept it safe for me. Kudos to Shane and the staff at the Station House Hotel. This was such a fabulous thing to do - THANK YOU! And this is only one example of what they are all like.
This is a really nice hotel very clean the rooms are well equipped the staff are very helpfull and friendley good car parking to the rear of the building but most of all the food was fantastic loved our stay at this hotel and hope to go back soon.
